David A. Jobes, Ph.D., ABPP
Dr. David Jobes received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at American University in 1988. He is a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist (American Board of Professional Psychology) and is licensed in Washington DC. Dr. Jobes is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Association of Suicidology, the International Association for Suicide Prevention, and the International Academy of Suicide Research. He is a Professor of Psychology and Co-Director of Clinical Training in the Ph.D. clinical psychology training program at The Catholic University of America. Dr. Jobes has published extensively in suicide prevention; he consults widely and routinely provides professional training in clinical suicidology. His clinical practice primarily involves individual psychotherapy with adolescents and adults addressing a broad range of clinical issues.
